Why is pragmatism a powerful tool for success?

 

Being able to consistently make logical decisions with noise constantly around you is important. Often times you will be given bad advice, biased opinions, information that is incomplete or inaccurate, or have your own natural biases. A pragmatic approach will keep you discipline so you remain objective. You will have to learn to make tough decisions that you might not be completely comfortable with by:

  • Concentrating on facts rather than ideals or emotions
  • Adopting a rational planning
  • Using short terms results as a compass
  • Building for the long term on short term step at a time
  • Feedback validation
